Visa Fees & Expenses
Visa fees and associated costs should be considered when making travel plans to Canada. A CAD $100 application fee for a Visitor (Tourist) visa and, if necessary, a CAD $85 biometric fee must be paid before your application is processed. Reservations for lodging, flights, travel insurance, and document preparation may incur additional costs. Tourist visas are not eligible for scholarships or waivers of visa fees, but with the right help and all the necessary paperwork, the process can be easy, inexpensive, and stress-free, letting you concentrate on having a great time in Canada.
